Our district is wide and varied. It spans much of the Windward coast of Oahu, including Kaneohe and the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and the towns of Kailua and Waimanalo. The district has been represented with caring skill by the late Barbara Marshall since 2002. Unfortunately, Barbara Marshall passed away February 22, 2009, and as her chief aide for 6 years, I’m trying to fill her very large shoes.
In order to elect Barbara’s successor on the City Council, there is a special election that is going on right now. It is a vote-by-mail election, and I urge you to vote. And if you see fit, please vote for me, Ikaika Anderson. Mahalo.
